cardiBlue is a voice-driven code timer and documentation aid. We designed it to collect as little as possible. This page describes everything the app does with data, in plain language.
cardiBlue has no user accounts. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifier.
The app has no fields for patient names, identifiers, or personal health information, and never asks for any. Code records consist only of timestamped event types (for example, "shock delivered" or "epinephrine given") and are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
When you export a code record, the app sends that record's event timeline (timestamps and event types only) to our server, which uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate a written narrative summary. This data contains no patient information and no information about you. It is used solely to generate the narrative returned to your device.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status, identified only by an anonymous, randomly generated ID. We never see your payment details.
The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no trackers. We do not sell or share any data.
Voice commands are processed using Apple's speech recognition on your device or Apple's servers per your iOS settings. Audio is used only to recognize commands during an active session and is not recorded or stored by cardiBlue.
